RELEASING, EASING AND UNLEASHING Sourcing from the powerful structures and insights of Skinner Releasing as they have been interpreted through Stephanie Skura’s Open Source Forms, this work furthers the creative exploration of the dynamic interplay between imagery, consciousness, releasing, and the unpredictable dynamism and mutability of the unfettered body in motion.

TUNING SCORES are an intriguing way to investigate fundamental elements of performance, movement behavior, and communication, altogether. Originated by Lisa Nelson, the Scores are a kaleidoscopic set of explorations that reveal how what we see is inextricably linked to how we see. With the ingredients of movement and verbal calls, and our multisenses, we will make live composition and dance together.  These practices are for people from any and many disciplines.

MARGIT GALANTER is a movement investigator, collaborator, and dance poet living in Oakland, CA.  She has worked with Tuning Scores for 15 years through practice, teaching, and performance, and has shared the scores extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad, bringing her unique interests to its rich research. Art Site: * PI Practice: * Art
