For dancers, poets, performance artists, visual artists, & other seekers of the limelight…

We will meet on Mondays for 2.5 hours. We’ll practice improvisation and performance. We’ll combine the action with razor sharp discussions on performance, the body beautiful, theory, art making, and whatever else comes up.

Take time to move your body and relearn doing in ways that serve your intention and bring you into the mix. Engage your mind, rest, get smart, fake it ‘til you make it, get real and pretend tools, big ideas, and practice your presence.

ABBY CRAIN has performed and taught professionally throughout the US, South America, and Europe.  In New York she was a founding member of Miguel Gutierrez and the Powerful People, a member of David Dorfman Dance, and toured with Bill Young and Dancers.  She has taught contemporary technique and improvisation at Dance New Amsterdam, and Movement Research in NYC.
